Bio
Fernando Vega-Redondo recibió su doctorado de la Universidad de Minnesota en 1984 bajo la supervisión de Leonid Hurwicz. Ha enseñado en la universidades de Alicante, Pompeu Fabra, Essex (UK), Cornell (EE.UU.), European University Institute (Italia), y Bocconi (Italia). Ha sido elegido fellow de la Econometric Society, la Game Theory Society, y la Society for the Advance of Economic Theory. Ha tenido responsabilidades editoriales en diversas revistas profesionales tales como Games and Economic Behavior, International Journal of Game Theory, Network Science, o Journal of Complex Networks. Ha supervisado veintiséis tesis doctorales y es autor de varios libros, entre los que se cuentan Evolution, Games, and Economic Behavior (Oxford University Press, 1996), Economics and the Theory of Games (Cambridge University Press, 2003), y Complex Economic Networks (Cambridge University Press, 2006).
